Restaurant Review: CinCin (Vancouver)
Up winding stone stairs off Vancouver's main drag, Robson Street, lies a classic Italian institution: CinCin. Slinging wood-fired pizzas since 1991, this restaurant feels like it has been around forever, which unfortunately means it slips our minds from time to time. But there's a reason CinCin is a stronghold in the ever-changing Vancouver restaurant scene, and after last night's epic meal, it's back at the top of our list.
Kristina, a non-gluten eater by choice, indulged in the pasta and had one word for it: euphoric.
My favourite of the five courses was the Pesce in Acqua Pazza: arctic char with gnocchi in “crazy water”. And it delivered: I went completely nutso for it.
Thanks for the reminder, CinCin, of why delicious food never goes out of style, and for treating the winners of our “Getaway with A&K” Contest to the finest Italian dining Vancouver has to offer!
The team working hard in the kitchen
The wine selection at CinCin is amazing.
One of the phenomenal chocolate desserts we tried, “Duomo” is dark chocolate mousse, orange cream hazelnut crunch and raspberry sauce.
